Fourth edition Azote_A, Mexico City | 2020
A4
A4 marks the fourth edition of the events organized by azote_A in Mexico City, a collective dedicated to fostering engagement with art through celebratory moments in mobile and adaptable spaces. This iteration brings together 13 artists in a multi-sensory dialogue— engaging sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch—to create a moment of presence and shared experience. Conceived as a pause in time and a meeting point, the project seeks to nurture collective spontaneity and human expression, offering an open field for exploration. By returning to the concept of the party, we affirm a shared existence.
Comprising 15 works— ranging from portable and site-specific pieces to luminous, olfactory, edible, virtual reality, visual, sound, and digital works— the intervention took place on February 29 in an uninhabited house. Participating artists include Montserrat Ayala, Abraham Chavez, Cirrina Lab, Omar Fidel García, AnaFlora Marcon, Victor Alvarado, Tom Kearney, Cineclub Casa Patricio, Rob Allen, Robotánica, Ezequiel Guido, El Oráculo OCP, and Bernardita Bertelsen.
