End of Signal
Cezar Mocan | Solo Show
Solo Contemporary- CSV, Madrid, Spain
What does it mean, under contemporary earth-observation regimes, to see everything and still misread—to claim the planet is fully legible from orbit, when the distance between data and lived experience makes stories not simply told, but operationalized?
In End of Signal, Cezar Mocan takes this tension as a point of departure, inhabiting the operational interior of a distributed satellite intelligence composed of seventy-two orbital “eyes” tasked with reconstructing an anomalous event that resists stabilization. The exhibition unfolds as both a spatial and emotional journey through its consciousness, articulated through orbital trajectories.
